The Kofax communication server is a communication solution that ensures the reliable exchange of business-critical messages among applications, devices and people. It supports the automation of all business processes, regardless of location, device or media type, and helps to accelerate business and reduce costs.

The software provider is expected to extend the use of the communication server to automate the capture and processing of an additional 10,000 fax, SMS, e-mail and voicemail messages daily.

“By automating the exchange of information across the enterprise, customers benefit from a streamlined communication solution that gets the right information to the right person at the right time,” observed Howard Dratler, executive vice president of Field Operations at Kofax.

Using the Kofax communication server, the company can now consolidate all its complex IT infrastructure by linking both inbound and outbound services provided by the various devices, media types, applications and social collaboration tools, connect with other enterprise applications at a central point and take care of all the administrative tasks easily and quickly.

As the whole process is automated, delays and errors associated with manual input are eliminated, operational efficiency is increased and infrastructure cost is reduced.

Kofax plc announced that an agency of the U.S. government has selected Kofax for a large scale, nationwide capture project. The customer will implement Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules, Kofax Front Office Server, Kofax Monitor, Kofax Communication Server and Kofax TotalAgility to automate the capture and processing of more than one billion documents.
